I was named after my moms friend, I got to stay at the house were the fountain used to be until it got destroyed durimg ww2. The trees along the road from the train station and going across the bridge, were planted there by my grandfather Giovanie Carano many years ago. I want to visit again.

We just returned. My husband was born here 52 years ago and was his first trip back in 48 years to see the sister and other relatives left behind. What a wonderful place. We cannot wait to return next summer

I like your Website very much. My grandparents were born in Carovilli. My grandfather, Luigi Berardi, was born in 1876, and my grandmother, Filomena Di Frangia Berardi, was born in 1885. They went to the United States in the early 20th century to live in Campbell, Ohio, which used to be called East Youngstown back in those days.
